Carlos Perla, a native New Yorker broke into the beauty and fashion industry as a hi-end photographic retoucher working advertising campaigns.
In addition to managing a team of retouchers, he would get involved behind the camera by art directing and consulting on photo shoots, as well as having a hand in the photo selection process.
After years of working behind the screen perfecting beauty for many talented photographers, he has decided to pick up the camera to bring his vision to light.
Carlos’ eye has been honed by his experiences in post-production and the outcome is a body of work inspired by fashion, beauty, and everyday grit filled with energy and color.
